Apple updated Mac Mini … with Mac OS X Server!
We’ve been setting up Mac Minis as servers for quite some time now for our small business customers. Now Apple has finally released a Mac Mini with Mac OS X Server pre-installed for just $999! Let’s just say we’re more than a little jazzed.
Instead of a SuperDrive, there are two 500GB hard drives inside. This can be used to create a RAID 1 mirror, and attach external storage for Time Machine backups. If you ever want to burn discs or install additional software, consider the external USB-based MacBook Air SuperDrive.
Luckily, due to this recession-proof server, there really are no more excuses to upgrade that old G4 sitting in the corner with the dust bunnies, running OS X Panther!
